ARTIST STATEMENT

The main tools of my practice are language and waste. English broken by non-Anglosaxon speakers, socio-economic dynamics, and youth culture. Waste as an effect of symbolic and material overproduction, hoarding, circulating. I believe that clashing these two elements can give a surplus of unexpected potential.

Founder of SURPLUS, a mutable platform adressing material and symbolic overproduction
Co-founder of artist-run gallery, VLP, Copenhagen
