It is a loose story about the consumption of reality through different devices. A poetic narration composed of private text messages, online conversations, literature quotes and overheard small talks. Includes a footage from Maggie Nelson's "Bluets", Judy Grahn's "Candidates for my love", Frank O'Hara's “Lunch poems" and ‘Wild palms” TV show. Also random phrases taken from Internet manuals and google search results. Everything collected while online. The choice of English as a language turns a text into a multisensual code of misheard meanings, accents and rhythms. Performed as a slam by a Japanese actor, Hiroaki Murakami, with the bass electric guitar, a saxophone and drums freestyle accompaniment. Plus animation of text, styled as a glitch-art karaoke.
*Random selection is an immersive project floating amongst mediums such as photography, video, performance and Internet-based art. Shifting is a natural state of human perception, transformed through personal devices and numerous Internet platforms creating multiple versions and codes of reality, enhancing its presence. It forms an interrupted set of overlapping narratives with its default chronologies.
